Ximena Gonzalez Alfonso
Set Designer & Art Director
Ximena González Alfonso is a New York-based art director and production designer with a background in visual communication and graphic design. Originally from Buenos Aires, she has developed a multidisciplinary practice across graphic and digital design, motion graphics, animation, and film.
Driven by curiosity, Ximena is drawn to the process of building worlds and discovering what makes them feel unique. She is particularly interested in the space between disciplines, where graphic, scenic, and digital design come together to create environments that exist somewhere between the real and the imagined..
Since relocating to New York, she has worked across film, advertising, and performance as a production and set designer, creating visual environments that support and expand the story. Her background in VFX and 3D rendering supports her design process, providing additional tools to explore ideas and previsualize spaces as they take shape
Ximena holds a Master’s degree in Cinema Arts from Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.
